Inspiration at the Riverdale Hub

Updated: Jun 13

Extraordinary Exhibit All 3 Floors

Last week, I had the privilege of experiencing the mesmerizing art of neurodivergent artist Miyakah Emons at the Riverdale Hub. Her exhibit on the second floor was nothing short of inspiring. Each piece showcased her unique perspective and vibrant creativity, leaving a lasting impression.

The Riverdale Hub, located in a 100-year-old building, has a rich history as a community-driven cultural space. Founded by the Riverdale Immigrant Women's Enterprise, the Hub has long been a beacon for artistic expression and social innovation. It was established to foster creativity and support local artists, becoming a vibrant center for diverse art forms and community engagement.

Miyakah's art beautifully captures the diverse ways we all see the world, making her work not only visually stunning but also deeply thought-provoking. But the inspiration didn’t stop there. The third floor features several other exceptional artists whose works are equally captivating and a must-see for any art enthusiast.

You can also see Miyakah's art on exhibit, a collaboration with hbhas.ca and the Helson Gallery in Halton Hills ON, from July 24th to Sept 15th.

If you're looking for an unforgettable art experience, visiting this incredible showcase at the Riverdale Hub will leave you wanting more. I'll elaborate on my experience with a podcast coming soon.

With Love & Encouragement,

Francesca
