Talent, Arts & Culture
For over a decade, I've worked across talent development, visual arts, music, wellness, and community programming. My practice weaves together cultural identity, storytelling, and holistic well-being to create experiences that connect people, whether that's through curating an art exhibition, building an inclusive recruitment strategy, or facilitating a creative wellness workshop.
I spent years in recruitment and workforce development, helping organizations find the right people and create cultures where everyone belongs. At the same time, I've spent nearly a decade curating exhibitions that celebrate Afro-Caribbean identity and amplify voices that deserve to be heard.
As the former Vice-Chair of the Halton Black History Awareness Society, I've volunteered and led the annual Emancipation Art Exhibition for 9 years, creating spaces where art serves as healing, memory, and connection.
What ties all of this together? The belief that every person, whether walking into a job interview, standing in front of a painting, or sitting in a workshop, deserves to be truly seen.

My Story
I've come to believe that life's greatest challenges shape our most meaningful work. My journey of resilience fuels everything I do, inspiring me to create spaces (in boardrooms and galleries alike) where people feel seen, heard, and connected to something larger than themselves.
Trained in Cultural Dynamics Leadership and therapeutic arts, with a background in fashion merchandising, I bring cultural intelligence, visual thinking, and a deeply human approach to everything I do.
When I'm not curating exhibitions or building teams, you'll find me on quiet walks through nature, carrying the joyful memory of my beloved 4lb Yorkie, Gracie, whose bright spirit reminds me that love shows up in the smallest, most beautiful ways.
My Curatorial Journey
Over the past eight years, I've developed my curatorial practice through deep collaboration and mentorship. Working with established curators and mentors like Judy Daley and Kara Bruce (Helson Gallery), Dr. Barbara Bruce of Western University's SASAH program, and Joan Butterfield, founder of the Association of African-Canadian Artists, I've learned to create exhibitions that are visually engaging, historically grounded, and socially conscious. I've also had the privilege of developing the SASAH internship program, a collaboration with the HBHAS for Western University students, creating hands-on learning experiences in exhibition planning and curatorial research.
My group exhibition, ST!LL BLOOM!NG: Emerging in Radiance, Rooted in Resilience (Art Gallery of Burlington, until May 24th 2026), continues my exploration of growth, ancestral memory, and collective healing. I hope you get a chance to see it.
Beyond the Gallery
Whether I'm helping an organization build an inclusive hiring strategy or curating an exhibition that honours ancestral memory, it's all the same work, creating belonging.
Art is cultural memory. Talent is organizational power.
