Up at the crack of dawn to deliver this Happy Harping workshop to a very enthusiastic group of Girl Guides. Split into 3 groups of 7 each young girl had the opportunity to experience learning how to play a simple song on the harp. Some of the benefits of learning how to play an instrument while engaging actively with music teaches patience, boost self-esteem, encourages self-expression and helps improve social skills. These Girls Guides mastered the "Promise" this morning and did their very best. It was amazing!!! Congratulations to everyone who participated and a heartfelt thanks to Ruth for the invitation to share another Happy Harping workshop.
